The Carter Showit Website Template

$750.00 — or $375.00 / month for 2 months

Carter is a timeless, editorial Showit website template built for photographers (however, it could be repurposed for a variety of niches!). It has a refined, minimal feel with plenty of breathing room, so your images stay the focus while still giving your potential clients the information they need to know.

This Showit template is structured around showcasing your portfolio, explaining your offers, and getting people to inquire. Carter pairs a clean, gallery-first aesthetic with conversion-focused design: portfolio category layouts, service breakdowns with starting investments, a step-by-step process section, testimonial sliders, a freebie opt-in, newsletter signups, and blog layouts all built in and ready to customize!

Carter is a timeless, editorial Showit website template built for photographers (however, it could be repurposed for a variety of niches!). It has a refined, minimal feel with plenty of breathing room, so your images stay the focus while still giving your potential clients the information they need to know.

Our templates aren’t designed for one-line filler text. Each section is spaced to support real messaging and real storytelling, giving your content room to breathe so you’re not cramming words in or redesigning layouts.

Enough space for real copy

You can depend on us only having one H1 per page and an organized text hierarchy that makes search engines happy.

Optimized Text Tags

Hundreds of designers have chosen our templates over and over again. We could list a dozen reasons why, but here are the big three:

Messy layers slow everything down. Our templates are built with clean, clearly labeled layer panels so you can jump in, make changes quickly, and move on—without digging around or second-guessing what’s what.

ORGANIZED LAYER PANELS

FAQs

What license comes with this template?

Each purchase includes a single-use license. You may use the template for one website, either for yourself or for one client.

Can I use this template for more than one client?

Planning to use this template more than once? You have three ways to do it:buy a one-time license for each individual project, grab an extended license for unlimited use, or join our membership to access every template we offer for one recurring fee.

Can I modify the template heavily and then reuse it?

If you have a one time use license, then no. Even if you make significant design changes, the original template may only be used for one website per “one time use” license. If you want to use the template as a base for another project, you will need to either purchase an additional license, or purchase the extended license!

Can I resell, share, or redistribute this template?

No. You may not resell, share, or redistribute this template or any part of it as a standalone product or as part of another template. It can only be used within client-facing projects or to redesign your own website.

Can I use this template as part of a semi-custom service?

Yes, as long as each client site has its own license and the template itself is not resold or redistributed outside of your service.

I’m not a Showit designer. Is this still a good fit?

Yes. These templates work well whether you’re DIYing your site or working with a designer. They’re especially great if you’ve used Showit before or have a basic familiarity with the platform. You can add your branding, photos, and copy yourself, or hand it off to a designer knowing the foundation is already solid.

Do You provide Training materials if I don’t know how to use showit?

Because we mainly serve designers in this space, we do not currently offer basic Showit training materials. However, we do include loom videos when necessary to cover advanced features within some of our templates. In addition, the Showit team has an extensive library of help docs to help you learn how to use the Showit platform.
